This is an image of the famed video game character Link made out of post-it notes on display on what appears to be a building of some sort in an unbeknownst city. The photo was posted on Tuesday, November 30th, 2010. With the release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword today, (November 20th, 2011) I was looking up pictures of the story's protagonist, Link on Google.com/images.
The genre illustrated in the picture above can clearly be associated with a form of art. Art can take many different shapes and forms. This form of art takes everyday supplies, in this case post-it notes, and transforms them into a picture. This particular piece of artwork will attract people of many different ages, races, genders, and even cultures, as it represents a video game character who has been around for two and-a-half decades, and has imprinted himself on the lives of many.
